What do you mean? What renders should I be using? (I use photoshop Cs2 just to let you know)

Your renders seem to be somewhat blurry..

I would suggest you try some beginner tutorials....

Text Suggestion: Never use Bevel and Emboss.. It just makes the text look worse..

I do blur the background... gaussian blur...

 

[Syntax]

If you blur the background along with your render you should try sharpening the render by going to filter > sharpen > sharpen then lower the opacity. That way the render stands out a bit more.

Ask Gymdawg about rain animation.

I remember a sig he had which had a render of two people kissing and rain falling with the odd drop splashing on the render.

My favourite sig ever.

Review of your signature...

To be honest I don't really like the background. However I understand you're just beginning so its not that bad for being a novice when it comes to photoshop. My only suggestion would be to try working with stock images as your backgrounds etc and mess around with gradient maps. That is once you understand PS a bit more.
