Nfl!!!!

Dolphins can't beat the Jets, there is no hope for them, 0-16 here they go.

Giants have no hope either, best defense in the league gave up 399 yards passing and 4 tds to Brady, so yea...

I love Tony Romo.

before i get a bunch of crap for saying that based on the game today let me state my case:

The last play of the '06 season is a botched game winning kick hold that he is tackled for and loses the game by a point. Fast-forward to now, new coach, new season, new hopes. Starts the season 5-0 and loses to a Patriots team that is nearly perfect, too bad the Cowboys had the upperhand going into halftime and into the 4th quarter. A few mistakes and slightly more skill and the Cowboys went down. No biggy, 5-1. Next week against the Bills Tony Romo single handedly throws 5 interceptions and fumbles the ball. Yet, he finds a way to salvage that final drive following the onside recovery to win the game. What a competitor. Now tonight, in a game where our run defense and long pass defense was literally bent over letting Kitna and his Lions have their way. Thanks to a phenomenal goal line defense and the magic that is Tony Romo, him and Jason Witten pull it out with 18 seconds to spare and win by one point and continue the lions down their 5 game losing streak.

So let me restate it again:
I love Tony Romo.

(cowboys for the super bowl baby, yay-yayuh)

Did anyone watch Eagles-Giants?!?! OMFG! Such a horrible game. I cant believe Akers hit the upright, his kick was so close...and there were a couple of bad calls the refs made that helped the Giants, omg...there was a pass interference call they missed, and a fumble call that BOTH coaches challenged, and they STILL didnt get the call right. That makes me angry. Well, the Eagles are basically done for the season. And what a horrible season it was, they got so unlucky. Theyve lost 5 games this season by 4 points or less. Including that Pats game...graggghhh....:mad2: :incazzato:

I tend to not watch NFC only games, plus it wasn't aired on the west coast, we got the Cardinals vs. Seahawks. Colts whooped the heck out of the Ravens tonight, Manning was impressive, only played into a little bit of the third quarter. I'm happy with how the Chargers bounced back from getting spanked early in the game and won in OT via who else? Ladanian.

Boy did the Packers ever clean house on Oakland, lol. Favre had a great game coming off an injury & Ryan Grant had a career day, lookin' like Dorcy Levens wearing that #25!!!

I would hope they would whoop up on the Raiders, they blow. Raiders will be a terrible franchise for as long as Al Davis owns them, which personally doesn't bother me, but it once had a great history, but now they're barely better than the Dolphins and Jets (sorry BLS). I was happy to see Favre play well after the injury, hopefully he can keep it going.

packers! win again! good game to rebound after losing to the cowboys. i hate the cowboys. with a passion. always have. but dont worry. playoffs come around and the packers and cowboys meet up again. woodson and KGB will be in and itll be a completly different outcome. specially cause al harris wont play like a giant retard...he got beat BAD by Owens.

Owens made Harris look like he should be playing highschool football, he was terrible, looked like a complete idiot on at least 3 plays.

theres a few reaons why i know for a fact the cowboys will beat the packers once again...

1. Brett Favre - the Packers played better without him against my 'boys and i bet he cant take us again
2. Harris - won't be much different next time around, if he covers Owen better on a couple of plays...okay, dump it to barber or toss it to witten or get it to crayton
3. Terry Glenn - he may be ready to go again even as soon as the Carolina game...that means hell be all warmed up for the playoffs
4. Cowboys Defense - it was a little shaky at some point against the Lions but WHEN IT MATTERS they can pull it out like they have every game this season (save the first giants game and pats game)
5. Tony Romo - enough said.

if u ask me, next time the cowboys play the Packers itll be even more of a margin, larger than 10 points at least

I'm assuming you're a Cowboy fan, in which case your opinions are biased, but alrighty moving on.

1. Brett Favre - the Packers played better without him against my 'boys and i bet he cant take us again
If you hadn't noticed, the way he played was not how they had been playing the entire season, and when he got hurt and Rodgers stepped in they went back to how they had been playing and what do you know they started to play better. I think their first few scripted plays were to go big, but I wouldn't expect them to make the same mistake twice.

2. Harris - won't be much different next time around, if he covers Owen better on a couple of plays...okay, dump it to barber or toss it to witten or get it to crayton
Harris is not as good as he is made out to be, but with Woodson back in the lineup and KGB their defense will be much more stout. I will give you that Romo has a lot of weapons, but so does Favre.

3. Terry Glenn - he may be ready to go again even as soon as the Carolina game...that means hell be all warmed up for the playoffs
Can we say overrated and a non-factor, sure he's a vet and a good player, but he's no better than Crayton or Owens, and with Witten you don't even need Glenn.

4. Cowboys Defense - it was a little shaky at some point against the Lions but WHEN IT MATTERS they can pull it out like they have every game this season (save the first giants game and pats game)
Wow, their defense is nowhere near as good as their record would suggest they are. 21 points per game, 220 yards passing a game, and 91 yards a game rushing allowed. I think their defense will have a hard time like they did when the Packers went back to their original philosophy, when Rodgers came in. Also, Grant at running-back is establishing himself as a good runner so they'll have to deal with that too.

5. Tony Romo - enough said.
Romo is a Favre jr. gunslinger, and enthusiastic, I have nothing to critique with Romo, I have been impressed with his performance all year, and I think it's great how he bounced back after the infamous botched kick hold.

if u ask me, next time the cowboys play the Packers itll be even more of a margin, larger than 10 points at least
Not likely, but we will see. Also as a side note, none of this is meant to be hostile, just giving my "unbiased" opinion, since I have no affiliation to either team.

thats irrelevant, juding from what you have said you are probably somewhat of a Packers fan, i could just as easily make the case for any team, i never made arbitrary assertions in my post i backed up my claims

If you hadn't noticed, the way he played was not how they had been playing the entire season, and when he got hurt and Rodgers stepped in they went back to how they had been playing and what do you know they started to play better. I think their first few scripted plays were to go big, but I wouldn't expect them to make the same mistake twice

yes i had noticed that, but the funny thing is, no matter how "fundamental packer offense" rodgers played it was still quite unpredictable for the cowboys defense to cover his style. there is next to no informatin about him. that being said i seriously doubt the idea of the packers offense making many adaptations to the cowboys defense, the cowboys dont play a dominating style of football they make the plays they need to in order to win the games and they have been doing that all year.

Harris is not as good as he is made out to be, but with Woodson back in the lineup and KGB their defense will be much more stout. I will give you that Romo has a lot of weapons, but so does Favre.

1. yea, harris is overrrated and fortunately TO isnt. we saw what happened
2. when the play man-to-man having woodson and kgb becomes irrelevant because TO will still get open
3. favre having weapons is irrelevant to the cowboys offensive productions and skill

Can we say overrated and a non-factor, sure he's a vet and a good player, but he's no better than Crayton or Owens, and with Witten you don't even need Glenn.

most players in the nfl are either overrated or underrated. terry glenn is by no means overrrated, i have heard next to no talk about him what-so-ever. last year he played substantially better than TO and hes still hurt but hes already starting to run routes effectively. He is better than Crayton as well because crayton is as good as he is now because of Terry's leadership. Saying that Witten means we don't need Glenn is simply ignorant because 1. Glenn is a widereciever and Witten is a TIGHT END 2. having our top wr back takes out the less skilled ones making it possible for bigger and better plays

Wow, their defense is nowhere near as good as their record would suggest they are. 21 points per game, 220 yards passing a game, and 91 yards a game rushing allowed. im not sure what you mean by "what their record would suggest" the team record is indicative of the TEAM not the defense...our defense does enough to let Romo win football games. when your offense leads the league in plays of 20 yards or more and is probably the most explosive behin the patriots at the moment, you dont need a defense that doesnt giv up touchdowns ever. our defense does exactly what it needs to and the funny thing is running backs dont get better against defenses theyve played before, its quite the opposite. the defense showed it could contain the packers when they "tryed to go deep" and with a little work and ACTUALLY playing brett favre and not the backup i dont see why the defense cant have an even better day

Romo is a Favre jr. gunslinger, and enthusiastic, I have nothing to critique with Romo, I have been impressed with his performance all year, and I think it's great how he bounced back after the infamous botched kick hold.

thats true

Not likely, but we will see. Also as a side note, none of this is meant to be hostile, just giving my "unbiased" opinion, since I have no affiliation to either team.

most of your arguments are all sounding similar to what people have said, and i know your not trying to be hostile and neither am i, just because i am supporting a team i like does not make my remarks biased. i have backed up the things i have established as opposed to simply answering you with: COWBOYS RULE. regardless of how well our defense plays overall pales in comparison to the intensity by which the cowboys offense attacks. they hold the team off enough to let romo win, like i said before, and at the end of the day all that reall matters is that W

Im rooting for the Packers right now, I want to see them win it all, now that the Eagles are pretty guaranteed to NOT make the playoffs :(
