get a life....and i'm pretty sure michael is the spy AND in the coffin. I think he becomes an intricate player in the show. and i agree that locke saw the black cmoke, not actual walt.

Interesting theory, but I'm not sure Michael would care about the freighter, at least not last time we saw him. Personally I think Sayid is the spy, and they cut a deal when they were locked up together. I think he originally said he had a spy on the boat just to stop Locke killing him.

By the way, just ignore the kid, he'll be banned soon enough.

Alternatively you could watch it on your computer... via totally legitimate means. :shifty:

THATS A GREAT IDEA!!!! Sayid being the spy is just the kind of twist LOST is known for. that could be VERY interesting!

But Sayid is not on the boat yet and Ben already has detailed info on the freighter people. And Sayid would not have had the opportunity to make a deal with Ben. Locke came in and Sayid made a deal to swap prisoners with him, not Ben. Ben had nothing to offer and Sayid could not even guarantee that Locke would not kill him.

And as for Michael, don't forget that he was under the impression that he was leaving he island with Walt. If he was stuck there on the freighter instead of getting away, he would be unlikely to help Ben. Plus how would Michael be able to get detailed info on the freighter people, including family, education, etc.? It would be up to the freighter people whether or not Michael and Walt would be taken back to civilization. Although I do think Michael is on the boat and Ben knew the freighter was there (because of having a spy on board) and that they would pick up Michael.

But the again, if Michael could just get their names to Ben, then Ben's group could have got the information through other means (like how they got the detailed info on the plane crash survivors) so hmmm...

I guess we'll have to wait and see.... The writers seem to have the ability to do things totally unexpected, so it's probably something or someone that no one has mentioned yet.

I'm surprised that there has been no discussion on the rocket shot from the boat...I've come to the conclusion that it means the Island is in a different demension...like a different time descrepancy...sort of like the Burmudha Triangle....because when that dude looked at the two clocks they were 30 mins apart which indicates that when the boat shot it, it should landed when he was doing the countdown...but it didn't as you all saw...it came 30 mins later

i feel like an alternate dimension would be a letdown, maybe its just the magnetic fields but that doesnt seem plausable either.

Unbelievable episode.

I think it could be Michael on the boat, as Ben's spy. That is a possible entrance for Michael to return, and I think it makes sense to have a well-known character take this role.

I want to know how Ben gets off the island. Because Locke blew up the submarine, so unless there is some other method of transportation off the island (which there doesn't seem to be, as Locke's actions were portrayed to be rather severe to everyone - including Ben and the 'others'), then there's an interesting story right there!

With regards to the projectile, I think it must just be something to do with the magnetic field. I can't see the series going down the path of an alternate dimension or something, because they might as well have Jack wake up and say to himself "Oh my God, it was all a dream". There will probably be some plausible scientific explanation for it.

I'm particularly interested in (as I'm sure everyone is) the relationship between Ben and the 'rescuers' after him. Can we really assume they are against him? Maybe they are with him and Ben called them for help?
I'm probably going to prove my thoughts wrong, but I don't know how that would be incorporated with the 'specialities' of the rescuers, particularly Charlotte since she has some relation with Dharma, after her findings of the Dharma collar on the Polar Bear in Morocco/Tunisia[?].
The freight crew (well, their employers) could be Dharma related and after Ben for what he did to the original Dharma inhabitants. Or they could just be some other organisation after Ben for another unknown reason.

What I'm curious about is the fact that Naomi did in fact have Desmond and Penelope's picture. Yet, Penelope gave the impression to Charlie that it wasn't her boat, so how did Naomi get the picture? Maybe this organisation managed to get hold of it and will (or intended to) use it to lure Desmond and any others into their trust.

One more thing. Does anyone think there is any relevance about Naomi's bracelet? Do we know who's initials were inscribed in it? The thing that gets me thinking, is that it appeared that the girl that Sayid killed (who shot him first), wore a similar (if not the same, I don't know) bracelet. To me, the camera seemed to emphasize the bracelets that both ladys were wearing when dead.

Many of you probably know, it might have even appeared on 'Next time, on Lost', but in case you don't and you want to know, next weeks flash-forward is
Kate's!
I can't wait!
