Idk if anyone else occasionally thinks of this thread/site and checks this, but hope y'all've been well. Really been missing the days of old internet forum boards. Lots of good memories pressing Ctrl+R to see if anyone has posted on the last 2 minutes

We'd like to breathe new life into the site but it's difficult. I'd love to hear suggestions on what to do... we could send an email blast to all the old members but I worry that might seem like spam.

That would be hard to do, people have mostly moved on from Forums, Discord is where its at these days. Also Bluesky. 20 years next year tho

I mean, it's worth a shot. even if you only get a couple people to return, it'd be neat. but like dbloke said it could be hard to get any regular traffic. it's just the reality of things, sad as that makes me. but that's not a bad idea. it could reconnect some people from long ago which would be a really cool purpose for it to serve 19 years later. I dunno what else wiichat could to do generate lasting traffic in 2025 off the top of my head but if we get some old-timers' attention and get us all together in a discord that could be pretty awesome.

No idea what happened to most of them. Dont evcen think they are on Twitter anymore, think ive seen one on that Anime list site, trhe others from ere that I had on there haven't logged on for years
Funny thing is im on a discord for another forum I joined before this that also is long gone
