Fully customizable protagonist. Sounds like they'll take the Mass Effect approach and likely record male and female voices, since the protagonist cannot possibly be silent.

glad to see palutena as playable, really couldn't care less about mii. Midna in hyrule warriors is cool and makes me even more optimistic about ghirahim. Somewhat interested in captain toad and -- unsurprisingly -- the squid game (I'm still the best neosquid). The new nopon character in xenoblade u looks really awesome too, I absolutely adored the playable nopon character in xenoblade, namely riki. would be more excited for mario maker if it had actual options.

It's an alien world, but the people came from Earth and the new city they set up is called Neo Los Angeles. It's a giant walled metropolis surrounded by huge spikey crystals as well, and inside looks quite a bit like real LA. It's more like Neo Hollywood/Downtown LA. A number of locations around this area featured the American flag painted on.
