It was you who brought them up in the first place. Considering these are among the lowest quality and most infamous fanbases one will find, the associations are inevitable. If you don't like it, then don't bring it up.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm not interested in bringing them up once in a while, but I guess you have a point.

What's so bad about the Homestuck fanbase, anyway? I really haven't noticed. I'm not trying to defend it, that's a legitimate question.
