It annoys me when I bring up the possibility of destruction by asteroid, and everyone's reaction is "omg no lets sit back and hope for the best sinc it wont happen". Playing with the cosmic slot machine, much? Yeah, it's unlikely. But there is no room for bad guessing. All I said is that humanity needs a valid and foilproof answer for incoming objects (that are big enough to harm us), and everyone is accusing me of being a paranoid lunatic.
