That is somewhat true. AC1 had a more traditional view of 'em, minus Abstergo. But the second game ruined the "historical" portrayal from the first game and uh... I don't know what they were trying to do.

They were tryin' to make a B-list action/sci-fi plot meant for a movie... in a video game. 'Least, that's the unpleasant vibe I felt after my initial playthrough; certainly hasn't faded after subsequent save files.

Comparatively the Sandy Hook shooting took more lives than all the other shootings this year by far. The details are interesting. Particularly the "Legally purchased" part and unknown injured part not to mention he shot and killed himself and he killed the supplier of the guns which was his mother. This is all to perfect to make a case for gun control. This alone makes me skeptical and I haven't read the paper of why it's a hoax.
