Depends if it's pulled off well. It was good in TWEWY. Liked some of the jpop, lively world, etc. I'd probably like the game more if I was a whiny teenager target audience.

It just follows the same holidays as them, school schedule, foods, etc.

But the abundance of chan, san, kun, and senpai may begin to bother you after some time.

As for more bearable than Neku, I have no clue. I liked Neku, so I cannot really tell you much.
