>_> With a better story

TWEWY has a bad and shallow plot for the typical KH teenager audience. I have the right to claim this since I played both games to the end.

You're certainly gonna get under J's scales comparin' KH to TWEWY.
You like both KH and TWEWY don't you, as do other KH fans thanks to Squeenix. In all honesty, there were some plot devices that were quite annoying.
I never knew of the third "angel" faction until I read the information online. Something that important should have been focused on a bit more on the main story rather than having it as a bonus. The plot itself is mostly just friendship and encourages people to stop being emo. A good message, but not for very suitable for a video game. With that, I can see why you'd look up to a sequel. Story needs to be attended in it with more care.

Which KH have ya played, exactly?
I was referring to TWEWY and PT. Only played some of KH1 and Chain of Memories.

What a shame.

Oh my god JC, a bomb!

It really is a shame though. It's possesses some Shadow of the Colossus elements in story and bosses. Gameplay is Zelda-esque. It features an excellent timer mechanic. The game forces you to care about the characters. There's also multiple endings with change your experience with the game in many ways. And the music.... it's got friggin' Liebestraum, automatically making the soundtrack one of the best around in the gaming market.

You haven't played TWEWY to the end. You didn't complete the Secret Report.

And never, ever, compare the two together.

Credits showed up, ergo I finished the game. The reports were the developer's way of shoving important plot points into the game where they couldn't fit them at the moment.

Aye. Square and their "Google it or don't understand" sorta storylines in certain games is inexcusable. If ya ain't got plans to make a game's plot intricate or thoroughly engaging, it better well be damn-easy to follow. I'd criticize KH much moreso than TWEWY in regards to this, however.

ohai ansem reports @ KH

Which reminds of one of Xenoblade Chronicles's strong points: It's a complete game. "Chronicles" is there for a reason. Unlike Xenogears and Xenosaga, which were chapters of a much larger story, Xenoblade is a full package. Monolith could have easily seperated the game into a trilogy, or made it into a larger series. The way it's played out is great in that there is no need for a sequel or prequel.
