I get stuff about Roman Orgys. I think these ads are... questionable.

Finally got Day Z working. Problem is, the newest update removed the starter pistol. What happens is that now there is no means of defending yourself unless you find a weapon, which isn't easy at all. Weapons are usually in towns, which are filled with zombies, but you can't kill the zombies when you don't have a weapon, etc.

^ Best get good fast at sneakin' around and losin' zambies. That, or learn where you're gonna find good loot ASAP.

That video was before the update, makung it null and void. I got lucky and spawned by a military building filled with loot. The good thing about no guns at spawn is that people have less reasons to kill you and may even join you if both are weaponless.

Not at all. The only thing missin' from that video, far as I recall, is the fact that melee weapons were added into the update right after said video was made. Almost all the advice in the video is still very valid.

Speakin' of, never bother with the crowbar if on another spawn ya can't find any weapons. Absolutely worthless.

Nope, but apparently the DayZ creator does. The hatchet does much more damage than the crowbar, I believe.

If all ya have is a crowbar, you'll hardly be able to defend yourself anyways. :lol: You're better off sprintin' away from any threats if all ya have is the worst weapon in the game. You wouldn't be able to handle more than one zombie with the piece of junk.
