Infinate ammo

So when I jump in a game and I have and automatic noob tube or
unlimited smoke bombs, ITs a glitch not a hacker?
And Im a cheater for having fun with it?

Just curious is all :) and does any of this prevent me from hosting? lol

Play however you want, I really don't care. But if you get unlimited smoke bombs then come in here to crow about how much of a not-cheater you are, expect me to speak up :)

I will play how I want , appreciate your concern.. I don't play the game for the golden eye cup, just to have fun ..You want to call it cheating so be it, I call it fun. Is what the game is supposed to be :)

If you are talking about that stupid reload glitch where if you hurry up and sprint while reloading and it will reload quicker then yeah that's cheating on the players part. I don't do that or have ever tried I just heard others speak of it on the gamespot forum. I am talking about the 3 minuscule matches where some idiot hacked with honebrew so everyone in the match had unlimited ammo, from the start of the match. I did no glitching whatsoever. The real question is do you get what I'm saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, you're conflating two completely different instances of strange in-game behavior that are different from the thread title and original post's extremely common "infinate ammo" glitch. The first isn't a glitch at all, the reload animation is longer than the actual reload sequence. If you're cutting off the end of the animation I don't see that as being any worse than something like Halo 2's BXR glitches. Until you learn where in the animation it's alright to break into a run and still get a full clip, you can watch the ammo counter, as soon as it updates you're good to run.

I've never seen the second type you describe, but I'd drop from that as soon as I saw it.

Seriously, next time you play keep track of when you have to reload. If you ever 'skip' one and still have a full clip, you're cheating. End of story.

I'ma tell some guys to come read this stuff so they can have a laugh with me, if you are implying that playing the game normally without trying to cheat makes me a cheat???? That don't even make sense, then why do any of is play??

If sone idiot wants to hack against me and try to get at me by cheating then damn right I'm gonna take that cheat and beat his ace with it to teach him a lesson. Cheats are never any good at this game anyway and without their pathetic hacks would be below garbage. Maybe you wanna exchange FC so I can show you my talent mr. I'm perfect. 2235-1503-8200....let's get it on!!!

The thread topic and original post are about a single, specific glitch that is possible (and happens quite frequently) on non-modified hardware. It is not a 'hack' and I'd appreciate it if you would at least attempt to have a civilized discourse. Posting three times in a row isn't a discussion, you're just trying to railroad your point across by repeating it in slightly different terms.

I've never made specific claims about my gameplay ability here and I'm very confused why you would suggest a match.

Just like some idiot hacked once where nobody in the entire match could die, it affected everyone, but I suppose that was a glitch that I musta done myself, wow you are arrogant!!!!
I never referred to anything like that. I assumed the thread would be confined to discussion about the "Infinate ammo" glitch described in the original post and everyone, with the notable exception of you, is discussing. I never made claims about several other things that only you have seen and I'm once again confused how you jumped to this conclusion. Can you clarify where I said that "any and all glitches that TKING11 has seen are exactly like this?"

I'm glad that you managed to stand by your word of "I'm leaving this discussion" for a full 3 minutes according to the forum timestamps.

In the context of this specific "Infinate ammo" glitch, described in the OP and under discussion by everyone except you, it's possible to trigger it without being aware and I do describe that as "cheating". You're aware of the glitch. You're not avoiding it. You're cheating.

I'm really not sure how I should slice that up differently.

You still have yet to say how you do this glitch that we supposedly do. And you right off the bat called me s cheat. Go back and read.

Go back and read the original post, it clearly says hack about never ending bullets. And that is what I was responding to. Good effort on your part and good day.

I'm not here to help anyone cheat, so I'm afraid I'm not going to explain the details. I discovered it on my own and don't believe it took any leaps of logic that are beyond the average player. But you are aware of it's existence and aren't willing to experiment and try to root-cause it yourself, I'm still going to call you a cheater. I honestly think I've dropped far too many hints about it for my own comfort, further attempt to get me to describe it will not.

I said that you are guilty of using this particular glitch to your advantage quite frequently. Yes, I am specifically calling you a cheater in the context of the "Infinate ammo" glitch described in the OP and under discussion by everyone here, with the exception of you. This does not invalidate my claim that I never asserted you are guilty of other despicable behavior as you attempt to be insinuating here, so please don't tell me to "go back and read" when it isn't required.

It says hack, but that is inaccurate and in my subsequent posts in the thread I believe I clarified that. Either you didn't read my posts, didn't understand them, or didn't care. I'm not sure which possibility hurts my feelings more to be honest. Since you made the claim that your Gamespot forums are better because they have more information, I was under the assumption that you would eagerly accept more information about this topic. Was that in error?

In other words, are you really claiming that the original post's mistake is more important than an accurate description of the unexpected in-game behavior?

I hate people who use hacks. Today I was in the docks room with a terralite and for soereason my ammo never went down. Some idiot was standing on the boat running his hacked terralite for the whole 10 minutes. Just wondering if it is possible for someone elses hacks to affect me.

Jawn, the original poster is referring to an infinite ammo hack which happens occasionally. He asked if a hacker can effect him. I believe if the hacker is the host and gives themselve infinite ammo, it effects everyone else in the game. It's happened to me several times.

He's not referring to the glitch where if you run over a dropped gun that matches the one you're using your ammo will reload automatically, or if you stand on a dropped gun matching the one you're using you have infinites ammo.

If you expect me to quit every game where I accidentally run over a gun and my ammo reloads, you're crazy dude. I'd still be a level five.

Why do you assume this is a glitch? You ever think the programmers wanted it to work that way on purpose. I haven't played the original GE 64 game in a long time, but if I remember correctly, running over ammo boxes reloaded you ammo without having to hit reload?

Have fun never finishing a game.

I finish plenty. It requires diligence and putting some thought into weapon loadout choice, but it's really quite simple once you actually try. I just don't want an unfair advantage over anyone.

BTW, thank you for pointing out that I was describing this glitch instead of a real hack (which I'm unaware of, my bad).

How is it unfair if everyone has the same advantage? If you're playing five guys in their upper 20's in the Nighclub (and let's say for this example you are too), they're more than likely all going to be using Terralites and there are going to be terralites all over the ground that they will be using to reload their ammo. By you choosing a lower level loadout, you're putting yourself at a dissadvantage, not leveling out the playing field.
