I mean we got two new mods but they have limited power..in the same sections. We have like 18 other sections that need some love.

They're all either US or Canadian too, so no one else for other time zones.

But yeah... give it five minutes and it'll all be fixed. I can see more forum-specific mods being introduced down the track... but there's not really a hurry to introduce them.

Thats a problem within the person.

Being a moderator does not mean you can't have an opinion, and it surely doesn't mean you can't dislike certain people. You just need to know where the line between your personal life and your job as a moderator is.

I can't really say I know you all too well, Dorkfish.

While maturity may play a certain role, I personally believe that online time plays a larger role in who would make a good moderator. When I first came to this site, I had no idea who owned it, I had no idea who moderated it. In fact, the only popular person that I really felt like I knew as a newb was Brawny. I believe that being able to identify with the members on a personal basis is the most important job of a moderator. At this point, after nearly a year, I can't say I know any of the moderators on a personal basis aside from Brandon.
