Faulty Wii? Hardware issues?

That happened to me before, but the next day when I tried it again it worked. Maybe you should try again in a couple days.

THANK U SO VERY MUCH!!!.....Although u didn't do much, sometimes waiting does help, thanks for ur concern:worship: i love u baby! XOXOXOXOXO

ARE U STILL HERE?

If internet connect isn't working, someone suggested a booster if the console is positioned too far away from router. Also, you mentioned a possible defect in the wii console. What could that be?

My weather and news channels will not work. It says that WiiConnect24 is not connected(even though it is). The internet channel, and shopping channel work just fine, and I can surf the web, and download software from the shopping channel. I was even able to do an update today, and download the new voting channel. I can't figure out whats wrong with my wiiconnect. The yellow light comes on when the wii is off, so obviously the wiiconnect24 is turned on. Its just not working right.

Guys, I'm just wondering if it's normal to have a little delay? Or is there something wrong with my transmitter/remote? It's most noticeable on the Zelda 'load game' screen, there must be a half a second delay in movement there. Also, when I sit the remote completely still, the pointer on the screen still shakes a bit. What can I do?

How far can wireless go in the house?? I have a 802.11b in my office and there is a bedroom in between my Wii (living room) and wireless router(office). We tried to connect to WiFi last week but the test connection wouldn't work, it just kept saying "testing Connection." I can connect my DS in the office just fine.

Everytime I switch my Wii on, it allows me to read the Health & Safety Screen, I press A to continue then the music kicks in and with in 1 second of cursor movement the pesty thing freezes.
Ninentendo said they were sure its the sensor bar and I've now waited 3 weeks for my replacement, but today I borrowed a sensor bar from a friend and the same problem exsists?
I never had any problems until I brought Red Steel of ebay and I'm sure its a dodgy copy, although it looks lagite?

I don't a faulty disk will screw up your wii, I think its just the system. Get a replacement Wii and then trash Red Steel just in case.

Hey everyone,

Got my working replacement Wii a couple of weeks ago. This was the third Wii Nintendo sent me as the first one was lost by Parcelforce and the second one was faulty. Anyways after having my new one for a few days a parcel arrived at home which was the lost Wii! It has a huge chip out the front of it which is wierd and when I tested it the disk drive has gone completly, no disks will load. So thats 2 Wii's Nintendo have sent me that have been faulty and a total of 4 Wii's I've had lol.

Ah well got a perfectly fine working Wii now. I lost my saves so am working through Twilight Princess for the 3rd time (I bought the Gamecube version whilst waiting for my Wii to arive)
