I hold the pencil in a weird way too, I had to use pencils with the little triangle but I didn't like it and took it off everytime, so I stayed this way..lol

It's hard to explain how I hold my pencil (my mom says that it's because the preschool teachers never recognized that I was a lefty, so it was hard for me to mimic them, but I'm not entirely sure). I steady it with my thumb like most people do, but instead of using the tip of my index finger to hold the pencil in place, I sort of slide it in the gap between my index and middle finger, so it's sort of like a sheath. I get hand cramps really easily this way, and people just stare when they see me write. At least my penmanship isn't that terrible :lol:

I actually hold it with the tips of all my fingers and press my ring finger with the surfaces, so I always leave smudges in the drawings I make.

And I thought I was special... I always got told that I should have been left handed but I'm absolutely useless with my left hand, I just hold my pencil differently, because of that, people seem to think I'm left handed, and even sometimes ambidextrous. Haha, I wish.

I think I hold my pen like you, Axtlar, I'm sure I had a photo somewhere lying around here. I'll do one after I'm done with Mario Kart DS, because of all of these freaking disconnectors. My little finger plays a big part in how I hold a pencil, it gives me my sense of direction, but it also makes me smudge, a lot.

I never thought there was anyone else who did it like me, my teachers always used to call it wrong and made me hold those bulky triangle pencils as if I was retarded, when clearly I was better than everybody else. There's someone who holds it like me in my English class as well. Where did all of you guys come from!?

I heard that lefties are more creative, I am a righty but I can write/draw with my left but no where near as good as I can with my right lol, imagine if everyone could use both hands equally, we could paint masterpieces with both hands, thatd be incredible lol

It's good to know there's another person in the planet who holds the pencil like me, Frogger..and I'm sure there's more, and the exact same thing happened to me; the teachers would tell me to hold the pencil right and give me those triangles, but I didn't like using them. When you asked where we come from, did you mean what country? lol

I don't think I hold pencils particularly strange..But I have a lump on the finger that you can see the pencil is resting on in the picture, since I've held it like this for so long.

I have a friend who holds the pencil between his four fingers, with two fingers either side the pencil, if you get what I mean??

Those pencils suck, watercolour ones, blah, didn't realise 'til I got home.

That's not very good quality and my digicam's... I don't know where my digicam is. But, it'll do, ne?

I got a D for my art coursework, it got pulled up to a B with classwork.

I laugh at our educational system, you can get good grades solely on quantity over quality and research.

I used to put my index finger higher up but I used to be fairly slow at completing tests, and I used to write a loooaaddd of information down for subjects like RE. After they refused me extra time, I mean, why would they deny me it? Well, yeah, after that I had to write faster and it would just slope down, that's how it is, it's stuck like that now.

Also! The two bottom fingers are very weak now and crack easily, I think I'm getting arthritis from it. I mean, there's no way I could've dodged arthritis with that and the bloody load of videogames I play.

Back on topic...

I made this in Flash and Adobe a couple months earlier. It's supposed to be Ness using my version of PSI Rockin'. It's my first time working with either program, so obviously, the picture looks really bad. Everything looks too slapped on in my opinion. I probably should have gotten rid of that big blue X in the background, since it's really distracting.

Oh well, tell me what you think!

I like it! But now that you mention the images in the background I can't stop staring at them. Maybe add even more to make the eye focus on the centre image?

Anyway, this was discussed in another thread. I made a quick doodle of myself...

Does anybody want themself drawing!?

Really, I will draw you if you ask me to, and probably stick them in the same image, like a big happy family. Awwh.
