Art thread

Okay everyone, I shall update, and next week, I will come home from my holiday with a crap load of mind splatters onto paper. Meaning the only thing that I could possibly occupy myself in Somsert will be Mario Kart (minus the wifi) and drawing. Whehah.

Recently, here's my works:

WARNING, FREAKING HUGE FILE. But I had to do it, it took so long to make.

I'm being lazy now, so I'll copy what I wrote about it in my deviantART.

Holy sweet freaking mother of Jesus.

This took a long time, and it crippled me quite badly. I kept on seeing that sketch on my desk and wanting to make it into a pretty little picture, so I did. The problem is it was on one bloody huge piece of A3 paper, and took up the vast majority of the size, so there's a slice down the middle because I had to piece it together because it wouldn't all fit into my scanner. Plus, I couldn't put the lid down because it was so big which let hideous shadows get in.

It doesdn't look much, but it consumed most of my 4 days of procrastinating.

Sketching, took about an hour, I thought it was a good idea at the start. Then I had to ink it, which took quite a bit of time because my pens kept running out, then I had to colour it which took forever and then I had to blend it which was painful, because my white pencil is always very small. Here's the keeper, had to re-ink it to go over all of my white smudges from blending. Ow, a lot, just ow.

So, you probably would have seen these characters before, I like this style of drawing, just some spare of the moment thing when my internet died from all the thunder we've been getting recently, meaning I couldn't research all the fabulous Ayu costumes and stuff. I will do that, but I'll be on hiatus for this week because of my "holiday" in Somerset.

All these girls look relatively the same age, except the more obvious parent like figure to the left. That's not humanly possible, or is it? No, it isn't, you can't clone a person, you can go suck it with your lies, France.

But yeah, I like drawing hair. 8D
My hands have recovered now, but they're mentally scarred. God bless me in art college.

Crayola coloured pencils for the win, now sell them seperately so I can top up on my white pencils and don't have to waste my money.

Annnd I have the last you'll see of me for a week, a drawing I did just today:

Who be your favourite? 8D

Yes, I like this style.

God damn it people, *shameful bump.*

There's people posting their drawings in the Lounge, this needs a bump, and I've been drawing a lot of crap.

If the uniform isn't that good, it's because my country don't know of ice hockey and it's never shown, I'm not too big on it myself.

Oh forgot about this thread....

Any way here's my latest crap:

It's fanart for my favorite fighting game Boo...err Soul Calibur. The character is one of my favorite characters, Ivy. It's a rough sketch, so I know its obvious flaws already...I was just too lazy to finish it up ATM.

BTW cute pic, frogger. I like the added detail.

I like the ranger with the superman top.
And of course humans can be cloned.

Seems this needs to be bumpity bumped, if no one would do it then fine, I did it myself. We have a perfectly good art thread, people should use it.

And you don't want me to talk about ethics and human cloning here. :p

So how did you do it? A thick pen tool and stroking paths? I was thinking of doing this to myself too...

Excellent as always Jack. Your family must have been unbelievably rich. Rich northeners?
