Animated gif's in avatars

Right so as you can all see i have that still picture for my avatar. wel it is supposed to be an animated gif well it is an animated gif. i made and uploaded it to photo bucket ( where it works fine ) an place it there and it dint work. then i tried a direct upload from my mac, dint work
this is how it's supposed to look ( if it want's to work this time )

If its over the size for gifs it will be resized
But it wont be animated

re post the pic (its a redx for me)and ill see what I cant do
