What the crap are you talking about with your "I want a consoule that can lay on it's side." !?! Do you read your instruction manuals. In fact, screw the manuals, the wii's got little support legs on it's side. What the frick did you think those were for, looks? Do you even own one, anyway? Cause if u did, it'd be PRETTY OBIOUSthat it could lay flat!!!

Just so you know, this article was written long before the Wii was out.

Pretty nice article, even giving the fact that it was written pre-Wii/PS3.

And at the whole "Stand on it's side" post...

I re-read the article. All it says is that his entertainment cubical is running out of horizontal space and needs to be able to save room.
Then he says you can stand the consoles on their side ( Opposite for Wii) and save horizontal room.
