500 wii points for the internet channel

I don't mind to screw up my account. The VC isn't of much interest to me. I bought one game just for testing.

There is an option in the wii menus to reset your console if you are selling it, I presume this sets it up with a new unique id and means that VC games would have to be paid for again

No I implied that is what I assumed is the reason why I was able to. But clearly there is some other crazy reason why if it isn't account related.
