I can't blame him for liking Melee better since I was obsessed with that game for quite a while. For my first two college years, I played Melee religiously. Now; however, I am in love with Brawl. It took me a while though.


I still have a friend who ONLY plays SSB for N64. I attempted to play it also but they look like abstract representations rather than actual characters l0l.

Competitive Melee is wayy more technique-oriented, Fraz. Have fun with that.

While I like playing both games, I personally prefer Brawl's slower-paced, yet more deliberate metagame.

After getting used to, brawl itself is better for a few reasons. First and foremost for me is being able to go online. I hated only being able to face the same people. Got boring (after a few years l0l)

LOLOL. Melee has better gameplay? I don't think so. Brawl has more variety, a more balanced physics engine, more characters, more items, more stages, etc. etc. Technically speaking, Brawl is better in every aspect. Ofcourse, I still respect your opinion. Everyone one to his own - what is fun(ner) to one, is less fun to another.
