I think it's actually better to speculate that Mario Kart will be PtP than SSBB. It keeps records, 18 player race, and even two player online simultaneously. Still even with that I wouldn't pay if the price is too high. A lobby, and voice chat, and you've suckered me in : )nic7 said:

man, i dont know how he does it, but sovi is good at getting us worked up.
If i brawl has pay to play, ill still buy the game, but wifi can go screw it self, i dont want to pay money for a mediocer online, if im gonna pay for online play, ill go to live but no, not wfc.
Though i highly doubt ssbb will be sentenced with pay to play, as someone already stated, ninty doesnt wanna make us madder after 2 delays, if the add pay to play, heads will roll in NOA. I honestly think it wont happen, it's too late a notice to hit us with this bomb shell, the delay was likely caused to fix the kinks in the online server in NA, not to add pay to play

i will never p2p, for one, I am already shelling out $$ for my internet, i bought the wii at 250$, i buy the damn games at 40-60 $ a pop, I get the accessories at 15 +++, and I buy stuff from thier shop, channels, games etc, WHAT ELSE COULD THEY NEED? JUST DO THE UPDATES FOR FREE SINCE YOU ARE THE BEST, DONT BE WOW and CHARGE US PLZ

We have just learned about this feature, and we really haven't learned much.
I'm not trying to ruffle feathers here, but Pay To Play for Brawl just is not happening. I also already answered if I would pay to play, then you said my comment was why we don't have voice chat or something? People can also challenge your post about Brawl having Pay To Play if they wish to, some I am sure think the whole notion is silly and they will state why it won't happen. I don't see why it really matters what is discussed in here, will Brawl have Pay To Play and if so will you pay for it?
Anyways, like I said if it were to have this option I would pay for it.

Sovieto you forget that japan has the game already, so if they were to do services that involved paying wouldn't we have known before? like when most characters were unlocked? but i wouldn't pay to play, why? my parents barely even pay for wiipoints, why would they pay for that? XD

That isn't how they're running things, Sovieto. They're making us pay on a game-to-game basis.
I doubt I'd pay for anything they could dish out, excluding Brawl. None of it will match up to the 360, and their offline will remain tremendous. Why should I waste my money on it?
And personally, I don't think that Brawl has any chance of being P2P.
