the pc would be a manual transmission
and the mac an automatic
if you don't know how to drive the pc you will stall it out
I never have problems with my pc, it runs like a dream all the time
it's all what you make it because it is so customizable
meaning you can fill it with junk and bad configs and let spyware happen
or not maintain your software etc, and it will bug up on you
i am not at all against macs but i think you may have drawn a hasty conclusion about pcs based soley on your own experience
pcs just take more tweaking, which is one of the cool things about [windows] is that you can tweak it so much to your personal style for almost everything
