Wii won't change back to 480i on analog tv

My larger analog tv has component inputs and can do only 480i. I hooked up my to one that can do 480 but when I hooked it back up to the analog set my wii did not set back to 480 i. I turned it off used the rca cables to switch back the settings to normal. Switched back to component and wii is still outputting 480 p. Any ideas on what to do ? Is this another glitch caused by the 3.0 update?

i had the same problem but it all went normal when i hooked the RCA cables back in... id try this hook in the RCA cables and unplug the wii power cord for a minute or so and then plug it back in and see if it goes back to 480i if not id try a different TV or call nintendo...

Plug in the green wire ONLy and make your adjustments on the wii settings screens. My problem was I was putting the blue and green wires in the wrong jacks because lack of light behind my tv.
