Wii Sports question - opponent ratings

When I play Wii tennis, the computer opponents are always very low rated (80-100) even when my own rating is approaching 1000. When I first got my console, I remember that the computer opponents got better as you improved, but with new miis they don't. I keep getting low-rated opponents to play against, its very boring. What's wrong?

you need to stop making miis for a little while then they will start going up in level and once youve reached 1000 you create miis more

as you create new miis you need to start again as you are creating a new profile

also when your skill level is reaching 1000 (pro) your comp opponents will gain the skills that you have gained which helps you to achieve more skills to test your ability in the game.
