i wonder if you flick the wiimote to the left and right to change channels and up and down to change the volume. that would be the BEST tv remote if that do that

Sold as a collectors item, not guaranteed to work with any specific TV. (not a Wii Controller, it just looks like one)

WTF, why cant they get a real Wiimote to control the TV? It'd get the controller into everyones hands then.
