Wii Modchip, I need answers

i am about to get a wii, i was about to get the JP one, but i herd you cant change to english. So i just held off and think of getting the US one..do you know the list of differnt regions that go with the serial

LU = America
LE = Europe
LJ = Japan
LA = Australia but also seems to be the rest of asia.

The language only effects the system menus. If the system you get is modified it will play games from other regions in english
