Wii Message Spammers... how long before it starts?

I was reading through some threads and a guy had his Wii e-mail: [email protected] (by the way that’s just an example for the perfectionist out there). Anyways then it hit me, what’s going to stop someone from taking that address and putting it on every spam e-mail list out there? Is there spam protection on these Wii’s for the message center? I’ll be honest, I’m not sure I would be giving my Wii number out to just anyone because I think it’s just a matter of time before the spamming starts!

Any opinions on this topic?

Well in order to actually receive messages, you must accept the person who will be sending you messages. So therefore, it will be quite difficult for spammers to do such a thing.

Ok, you're right, I completely forgot about that! My bad! Let's just hope someone doesn't find a way around the system anytime soon!
