wii is more expansive than ps3?

Lol... Classicmote is just $20 and the Game Cube controller is not necessary, and, if you have a game cube already... you know... PS3 won't have ever a dock station, so count on batteries... is pretty cheaper the wii and awesome.

What, A wii is 250, a charger is 30 and who needs cables? They come with the Wii and no games are in HD so there's no need to buy HD cables. And games are cheaper so no the Wii is much cheaper than a PS3 or 360.

Component is an HD Cable. You can get 480p/720p/1080i out of component cables.

Your on crack if you think Wii could cost more than PS3.. you still need extra controllers (which are wireless and still need batteries/charger), games, dvd remote control etc for the PS3.

Wii is like a Wii, Gamecube, N64, Snes etc all in one for that low price.

So add all that extra stuff to the $999 price tag for PS3 and Wii's price will never come even close.

You don't need a classic controller. Just buy 1 gc controller and you'll be able to use that for basically any virtual console game.

So... PS3 = $600
Wii w/ 1gc controller = $270

well... since i am planning to buy
wii system = $250
component cable = $30 (this is year 2007 everyone needs this)
wiimot charger = $30 (this is must have! you can't play without this)
gamecube controller = $20 (this is must have! wii sux without gamecube games)
