Yeah, of all the characters in Arrested Development, I would never guess that he would be as successful as he is. But, I guess he does have that awkward, average guy appeal to him...
I hadn't heard that, but it's a possibility. You know the "on the next arrested development" bit at the end, every writer/character wrote their own scene and the creators voted on the best one. So, if they allow the actors to do that, I imagine they'd allow Michael Cera to write his own lines.
