Wii in Australia thread

Yes, this is true - I am busy with flooding interests and avoiding studying for exams.

Is it weird that even now, at Uni, I am looking at other courses I could be doing?

Ok, I was thinking of doing my Bach of Laws at a different Uni, no real big thing there. If another University works better for me, why not? But then I noticed they had a Bachelor of Languages, which interests me greatly as I fancy being able to speak a second language. The downside, they don't offer it in any double degree. So if I wanted it, I'd have to study it all by itself, and it's not practical for me at the moment. Though, after I finish Law, I easily could go onto that degree afterwards. Lol live at University forever. But considering the amount of travel I want to do in Europe, I think it might be useful.

But the thing is... with my degree of law, I was thinking of doing an accounting thing with it, which is like 'wtf where did that come from?' But yeah, the more I think about it - it might work. The site says, if you are doing an eqivalent degree, then you pretty much get in. So if Southern Cross let's me into the Bach of Laws degree, then hopefully the new university will accept me.

Ah, maybe not everyone knows? am currently studying law, yes, but it's called a "university wants more money out of you" degree, so I need to pay them an extra $2000 before they let me do the fancy bach of laws. because you know, it's a ***** when you miss out on your course by ONE mark.

You wanna travel, but you wanna do law and accounting?...Well actually, My cousin works for Macquarrie and is now over in England. And just one other thing...My uncle, if he hadn't suddenly died 5 years or so ago, he would be changing the interest rates and all that or whatever they do as the head guy at the reserve bank.

So you're out of journalism then?

i've been out of journalism for nearly a year!
and don't worry, i've since changed my uni plans since I posted that message. still doing law. but with a double degree with a bach of arts. Apparently all the law degrees at UNE must be done as a double degree with something... but i really like the sounds of their art degree. I feel like such a nerd saying that too.
