I seriously don't know why you would need one(unless you want to be on the safe side) I need to see a strap break with my own eyes before I begin to worry about my strap possibly breaking. (phew it takes forever to type on the wii :O)

i just want them because the old ones were getting kinda dirty... you may not notice it but im sure yours are too

i dont that it really matters for most people

im always seeing like 1 or two wii's on the shelves at every store ive been in

That's good for Aussies, but here in Melbourne, I've looked at so many stores and all sold out. So I went down to my local Game Traders store and pre-ordered a Wii.

I could go pre order at EB Games, but I kind of hate them, and they proborly have alot of pre-orders as it is.

you should just go long driving to SYDNEY!
they have alot of wii consoles in the areas around where i live.

haha and why do you hate EB?

I don't hate them personnaly, but they tend to rip people off.

A while back they were having a huge sale, a certain game that was normally around 50 dollars at Toys R US, was 70 dollars at EB Games, with a big "$20 OFF!' sticker on it, making it $50.

EB Games is a good store, but I like going to stores like Game Traders or DSE when I buy things like Wii's, because I know they USSUALY (not always the case) have cheap games. In my area, anyway.

Yeah, it's crazy.

EB Games is so popular, they use it to their advantage. People go in to trade in their games thinking they get the best deal from a huge store like EB Games, when they get ripped off.

For me, it's nice to walk into a quite average gaming store and walk out with what I needed. Most of the time when I head to EB Games at Chadstone, I'm lucky to get out alive >_<
