Wii in Australia thread

I doubt it...

What is the chance of Nintendo blocking the Freeloader?

Would it be considered the biggest mistake in the company's history?

(However, I can see the legal ramifications of it, I noticed the NTSC boxes say not for sale outside of the USA...not sure why, but perhaps it gets companies into trouble if they do it)...

Or to protect those from buying the wrong format, most 'casual' gamers wouldnt even know the difference between PAL and NTSC

That's a very good point Apollo...

Also, has anyone seen the new GH for DS I think it's called 'On Tour' it's got ads for it and all...

And I really really hope they can give me my money back.

And if they do block it, then they're assholes, because they're still getting revenue no matter what happens. Only people who may be pissed is Nintendo of Australia, but those ****ers shoot up prices so damn much, it's their fault too.

Yeah you are right, its always a monopoly here. Nintendo must be getting desperate.

Yeah ive heard about the new GH for the ds

We quite frankly didn't know whether it would be possible to bring the core essence of the franchise to handheld and have it actually work. It was 20-something gameplay prototypes that were built, all trying different mechanics and uses of the hardware."

He then described how the creation of the Guitar Grip came about, saying "We ripped apart an old GBA cartridge and did some electronics work on it to rig up a prototype device. As awkward and crude as that prototype was, that's when we knew we were onto something."

It seems ok, but i doubt it will be on par with the console games. Still worth looking into though

I hope the postage service is still running cause im still waiting for brawl , there better be shops open tomorrow otherwise ill be very very very annoyed. The cinemas too.

The long weekend has sort of lost this glitter this year, primarily because it is already end of term holidays and nobody in the family really cares about easter >.>

That's where ever you live for ya...We still have 3 weeks left...:(

When do you guys think that we'll be getting Everyone's Nintendo Channel? It should be when wiiware comes out so then we can look at previews of the games before we buy them...I hate America. "OH NO! We won't have SSBB until tomorrow...What shall we do!!!??? Why don't we have ENC? We're the greatest country so why not?"
