Wii in Australia thread

I wanted to do the Pelopennesian War... But nooo! Actually, I also wanted to do Hannibal, but nooooo. And then there was Xerxes but noooo. Anyway, it doesn't matter. It's OVER now! And it has been over for quite some time! Hurrah!

Anyway - I was just playing Perfect Dark! I love that game. From my understand, it sold out to either Playstation or Xbox, so no future Perfect Dark games on Wii. So damn. Is there going to be any basically similar games? I mean, sure, there are plenty of shooting games - but I'd prefer something in the style of Perfect Dark.

I know there is a James Bond game on GameCube - but my god, that is a hard game! ... Or maybe I just find it hard. On Perfect Dark though, my combat simulator level is up to Killer:7 The heighest anyone in my family has ever gone. Which makes me the best! But the only problem is, nobody ever wants to verse me, and apparently you need to do some versus games with real people to continue to up the stats necessary to advance to the next level! I can just play two-player, and just not have a second player, but thats kind of cheating.

And YES, I was just playing something OTHER then Mortal Kombat!

:shocked: How could you not? .... Well, I guess is you didn't have a 64 you wouldn't. And I guess if you don't like those kind of games you wouldn't. And I guess it's possible that you just never got around to playing that game. Kind of like how I've never played Tekken, or whatever it's called.

Geelong is the best team. Ive been a supporter all my life. We had a huge winning streak this year. Are you smarter than a fifth grader is a good show but i know most of the answers. Its still interesting some of the stuff they teach 5th graders these days. I knew the answer to the australian flag question. the show i cant stand is Australian Idol. my sister is obsessed with it and she never shuts up about it. its absolute crap

Yeah, I feel a little silly for not knowing most of the answers. Obviously, I know some - Like, I knew that Spongebob question. But I know there are some questions I don't know - or for that matter, understand. I hate those logic questions eg. If Max is taller then Sarah who is taller then Mike, who is smaller then Chad who is taller then Daniel, who is taller then Sarah, who is the tallest. That wasn't a very good example, I know. It was meant to make sense or anything. But, those are the kind of questions that just confuse me to no end. Yet, 5th Graders can answer them! Of course, apparently not everyone can work out those kind of questions as fast as others. It's not meant to reflect on a person's intelligence. But somehow I think people just tell you that to make you not feel so bad.

You can only ask one question.... I can answer that! I'd like to see a 5th grader answer that one! ... Okay, they probably could, but still!

I too, hate Australian idol. And it always goes over - I like to watch Supernatural on Monday night. I hate the 'Journey' thing they put on when someone gets kicked out. I just want them to be shown the door straight away. And for Supernatual to come on.

Geelong were amazing this year. I like them as a team, to the point where I wasn't entirely pissed off when you thumped us in the Grand Final.

I used to like Idol, but the quality now is just terrible. I can't stand watching it.

Well, of course it's not 'are you lying' both brothers would just say 'Nope'. But at the moment I can't be bothered to explain the fork in the road properly. Instead, I'll go onto the internet and find the actual question - that way, it will make sense.

Now, without sounding too silly, what exactly is the rep for? I saw your comment 'click the little green mushroom please', and without knowing why I was pressing it, I did... Because I was told too. Obviously, I always listen to things people tell me to do in their signatures. I tried looking in the FAQ for it very quickly, but I couldn't see anything.... So, what exactly is rep for? Just because?

Okies - here's the question.

You come to a fork in the road. One path leads to riches and happiness, the other, to death and destruction. Standing at the fork in the road there are two brothers, one always lies, and one who always tells the truth. You dont know which brother tells the truth, and which lies. If you could ask only one question, and you have to be sure you are on the right path before you start down the path. What question do you ask the brothers?

Actually, that wouldn't work.

The liar would say 'no', because he does not say the truth, which would be 'yes'.

The truth-teller would say 'no', which is the truth, for he is not lying.

Therefore, both the liar and the truth-teller say 'no', thus, you have wasted the one question you could ask them.
