Any Aussies getting Red Steel?

I've decided against Red Steel because of all the reviews actually. I will definetly rent it of course. Are you planning to get it?

I watched a vid review of red steel.. tbh it looks like utter crap, looks like an old outdated FPS using the Wii control novelty.. but from what the review said there are some downfalls to using the wii control for an FPS.. such as having a sore hand from holding your control up constantly.. and zooming in and the like.. plus being overly sensitive sometimes

for a while i was like that aswell, put off by all the bad reviews but then i remembered many years ago wanting UT 2K4, everyone i knew said it sucked and i read poor reviews but got it anyway and now its one of my fave games, moral of the story is....umm i have too much time on my hands and money burning a hole in my pocket

I'm getting Rayman, Monkeyball and Wii Play. Sounds like some fun multiplayer for me...but no Zelda!

Flip, thats still 2 hours standing in a queue! Youve already pre-ordered haven't you?

I have pre-ordered. The problem is, they wouldn't let me pre-order another 2 controllers ( To make 4 ), so I want to get there early and nab a couple controllers before they've sold out. Plus, I'm way too excited to sit here all night waiting for midnight.

Also, I will be getting Red Steel. Though the reviews were negative, what Reggie said won me over. I had imagined it would be possible that reviewers would be highly critical of a new control scheme, especially one as different as Red Steel's. So, I'm buying it. Hopefully if the single-player isn't that hot, the Multi-player will be Goldeneye-enough that I'll love it.

Somehow, I'm not interested. I will buy it, just not straight away. I always sucked at the n64 games, so that's probably why.
Well, i'm off to the shops now! To go bowling, mind you. Not wii related. Then again, i could start lining up. OMG i shall see if people are lining up, and take photos if they are! I'll post it sometime if I get anything

3 and a 1/2hrs for us. But Im gonna get it from BigW.. Very cheap prices, plus I get a 5% discount on everything instore. Also Target seems cheapest for games and accessories. BTW I dont think Aussie demand is as high for the Wii, so if you arrive at 11:30 you should still be fine!
