Wii in Australia thread

Thinking about getting a DS for work.... Never really got into my handhelds. Are they worth getting? Everyone seems to rave about em, from what i've seen they don't seem to be anything special (not that i seen alot). Am i missing something??

A DS for work?.....But the DS is great because it is different its really versatile and what ever type game your into its probably 10 x better on the ds because of the interactiveness (wow thats a word). What type of games are you into I'll see if I can find you some games

yeah I hear what your saying? And yes for work! Between jobs kinda thing. I do like the interactiveness and thats kinda what draws me to it. I'm in to pretty much all games except RPG's. Hate the long boring story games with heaps of text and stuff that takes ages to go through. Like to turn it on, jump right into. Platformers, shooters, sports, Driving, pretty much anything. Hear that Trauma Centre is pretty awsome from a few people.

Trauma Centre is awesome its kinda text driven maybe borrow it from a firned if you can, Yoshi's Island is a great game to just pick up and play and of course you have to get Mario Kart great game!! I suggest looking around on play asia in the us ds section its cheaper and haves a better range compared to your local game shop

Cheers Sam for your help. I'll take a look around and see what i come up with. At this stage it's more of a want than a need, But if it can pass away boring work time then i guess it really is a need!

JB Hifi near me has a MASSIVE range of games. But never really looked for anything specific. Will do some online thinking!

Sam, you forgot PROJECT RUB! Thats the perfect game between workness, but it is short also... umm... New Super Mario Brothers?

And I think stereotyping is fun :D Not in a cruel way, in a Simpsons way. Simpsons vs Australia FTW!

How is it out of hand? We discuss Australian Wii and Nintendoness! And sometimes otehr things along with them, but not by themselves.
But we are open to all opinions and suggestions.

Its ok i lost, lol it went for $40, damn school! What do you guys recommend Jump Ultimate Stars or New Super Mario Bros and take into consideration japanese text because i cant read it.

lol, just so you know I am buying Jump today and Pheonix Wright 1 (wootness) (I already have NSMB and ITS FUN! kind of...)
I bought Jump! For $50AUD! There are 2 for $30 on eBay with $20 p/h but you NEED paypal. So I made my friend pay for it. Woot!

So you can wait for a review or buy it while its cheap. I would lend you mario but your in NSW and I am now. 'Nuff said.

It may look awesome, but I've heard it is awesome. Did you consider that?
What am I talking about? Anyway, this thread has turned into a Nintendo in Asutralia topic. Are we able to change out board name?

Anyhow, even though you don't know Japanese you can always use a game guide from Gamefaqs to get the basics down.

jrstubs this is one of the most succesful threads in my opinion on here not just because it is my thread but because there are so many great aussies on here it hasn't gotten out of hand just we talk a lot

nkbswe5 i never played project rub!!
