Look At The Title Name
Look at the title name, obviously. Don't go too anything like ' . . . ' or '_____'
Dont go too something unbeleavable or stupid like this.
' LOLZ ChocolAte iS BanNED In AMERICA!!! '
It most likely a trick too make you go to the thread. Probably with something inappropriate.

Look At The User Who Created The Thread
Under every title there is a username. That is the person who created the thread. Make sure it is someone you know would'nt do anything bad. It it is someone you don't know read the next paragraph.

Put Your Mouse Over The Title
Put your mouse over the thread title. But wait and don't click. A yellow square will appear. It will show you The first few sentances in the thread.

Links
If in the yellow square it has a link to something or an image link then READ THE URL
Sometimes if you do read the url and go to the link it may be redirrected to somewhere else. [STRIKE]There's no way to solve that.[/STRIKE]

Many internet add-ons allow you to check site infomation from a simple link. An example is with firefox you could right click and check site source data or even open the link without actually going to the site from a coolaris preview.

Actually, it was.
Someone eventually bumped it, and now they're gone. But still, there will always be things like this.
