Wii and Nintendo DS Lite work together?

Knowing that both devices uses Wifi; I was wondering if Wii and Nintendo DS Lite can somehow work together, either through games or Chat rooms from the startup screen (of DS)?

Have been searching through this forum and on the internet, without any luck.

Certain DS games can link to Wii game counterparts for quite a few purposes, such as the Animal Crossing games, or using the Wii Shop Channel to download DS game demos temporarily to your DS to try.

I havn't heard of any application of picto chat on the DS integrated with the Wii yet, however.

yeah and pkmn battle revolution work together,you also have guitar 5 with there roadie battle thingy
