I was browsing on IGN and I thought it would be cool to compare the graphics of Call of Duty 3 for all the new systems. I obviously didn't expect the Wii to be on par with the other two consoles but surprisingly the 360 looked just as good as the PS3.

To me it looks as if the PS3 graphics are the best. Its especially apparant when you look at the grass in the 2nd shots. The 360's looks kinda pixelated and undefined whereas the PS3's look good and clearly defined

I think that 360 is, or is almost on par with the PS3 graphics. But yeah, Wii will ALWAYS be more fun.

Also you've got to remember that the 360 has been out for a year at this point so developers have had time to explore the hardware. Games get better with time on a console. Look at the difference between Tony Hawks 3 - A PS2 launch title - and Tony Hawks American Wasteland. There is a huge difference in not only graphics but level sizes, gameplay etc. The 360 and the PS3 versions may look pretty similar but the 360 has had a years head start.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what the Wii can put out graphics wize once developers start using it to its full potential.

Yeah, my brother rented CoD3 yesterday and the graphics really do help the immersion, I was really impressed.

Unfortunately I don't reckon CoD3 will do that well on Wii... It's just one of those games where you need the graphical immersion rather than the Wiimote, it needs enough processing power to display many many troops fighting away and lots of debris scattering everywhere.

It'll be fun on Wii, but it won't be immersive. ^_^;;
