I think the majority of you are completely out of your minds.
First of all, those of you who think it's "sick" to compare the relative "hotness" of Midna and Zelda are missing the point, of this thread, and of life in general. I hope all of you in this category enjoy your passion-less relationships and years of therapy.
Now, down to the real business of this thread. Let's face a fact that none of you seem to have realized. This is not about who you or I may find "hot". This is about Link. Who does Link find hot, and who is Link likely to end up with?
First of all, Midna is a wild freak. A little country boy like Link would never be able to handle a wild woman like that. Sure, they may have shared some laughs when he was in wolf's form, but there was nothing "real" there, you know what I mean?
At the end of the day, she's going to end up with a guy like Zant. Judging from that one scene, they may already have had something happening in there. She's a true "bad boy" kind of girl.
She had a need for Link's services, he gladly fulfilled her need, and will have her image in his mind for whatever fantasy life he needs as his life takes on a more permanent and stable state. In other words, as for Link, she was nothing more than a tease.
I'm sure you know how it is. Be nice to the beautiful girl, be the shoulder for her to cry on when her biker boyfriend treats her badly, and she'll give you just enough encouragement to keep you around, but she's not going to end up with you. Period, the end. Therefore, she is not the "hottest" in the sense that Link will never end up with her.
What about Zelda? Well, sure, there's a better chance there, but that's not happening either. First of all, there was no "ooh" when she was on the horse with Link. She just sat there like some kind of ice queen.
And, in fact, she is royalty. Link may be the "chosen one" or some such thing, be that doesn't mean the royal family will be allowing him to sit at their table with his dirty shoes and choosing the wrong fork and whatnot. No, once again, he's a useful idiot to them, there to fulfill their needs, just as "the help" always shall be to the super-rich.
They'll give him a nice plot of land to herd his little goats or whatever. But they don't need him anymore. Zelda would lose her crown if she married a commoner like him. They may have a special bond of some sort, but it's more like that between Scarlett O'Hara and her servant Mammy. So she's not "hot" either.
So, that leaves the obvious choice for Link, which only one of you touched on, I believe, and that would be Ilia. The perfect - the actual - Girl Next Door (TM). Sure, she's ok. She seemed ok, as far as the innocent small town girl goes. But there are two main problems with her.
First of all, she was kind of a complete beetch when it came to the horse at the beginning. Does Link really need that kind of psychotic nagging in his ear for the rest of his un-natural life?
No, he doesn't. He's low-key, laid back, easy going. The strong, silent type. She would run roughshod over him in a very short period of time. "Link, take out the trash." "Link, clean out the cat box." "Link, did you finish the last of the cheesy pumpkin soup again even though you know very well my mother is coming over tonight?" Sheesh - who needs it?
The second big problem with her is that Link is now a man of the world. He's been around. He's seen things. Things that only a bright mind would appreciate. Whatever happened to her, she forgot. What if she forgets his name again and calls out the wrong one at the wrong time? That would be unfortunate.
No, there's only one real choice for Link. One woman who knows something of the world, who has a nice little business for Link to putter around with. An independent woman who has it all: a little bit "urban", a little bit pretty, a nice face, a great attitude, and a kind of a little tomboy. And that, my friends, is the woman that Link would actually end up in the event this game represented real life in any form at all, and that is...

You should have said prettier or better looking, then you might have had a better pole. I think Midna's true form is better looking than Zelda.
