Which character are you best with?

Idt you understand how hard it is to read an expert Metaknight. You really have no idea. Doesnt matter whether or not you read them, they have priority on everything. youd be lucky to get in a single hit.

Actually I have experience with Canon's brother,unfortuanetly,so pretty much almost everyone is anti meta,but I still have problems against snake grenaders,I must admit @_@

Good,I have trouble against toon link sometimes so maybe I can improve.
Using random in every match is sometimes hard to get used to in the beginning of matches,cya tommorrow man.

Lolz. Yea, but thats how I practice. When I get really good with people, like I am with Link, I do a one versus three lv 9 CPU's. Hard as hell, but very good for improvement. (Oh, but make sure you allow teammates to damage eachother, otherwise it is quite impossible for one on three.)

My anti-meta is Metaknight. I need to work on him a lot. The best Metaknight player that I have played is 17. That's his name 17. I have never beaten his Meta because he's so good with him. I think that that's the only character that he uses. Snake is good in resisting most of Meta's arials. My Snake puts on a good fight against them.

Expert Meta's are friggin nuts. Priority out the ass on eveything. Only way I have found marginally good to deal with them is to stay out of close range.

Which is why Brawl+ is epic. Meta is no longer an insane beast; but make no mistake, he's still Top Tier, I hear.

I try that but his sword is so damn fast. Maybe marth would be a good match-up... hmmm

Marth has less priority than Meta on all his moves, Meta also outranges him. Marth has a disadvantage against Meta.

Ehhhh.... I havent seen a way to work around it in actual combat. Samus is a good matchup against him, so is Link and Toon Link bc of their range.

Samus lacks the raw power to take on Meta, and doesn't have very much priority. Meta also outranges her in close combat. Keeping your distance from Meta is already hard, so her only advantage is forcing Meta's approaches; which certainly isn't enough to make up for her disadvantages.

I don't really use them. I do use ZSS but she is more mid-range. I think Kirby would be a great match up.

As Storm mentioned, Kirby doesn't have enough priority to match Meta head on. While his recovery has enough diagonal push to keep the player from being gimped instantly, his Up B is still gimpable. Kirby's multiple jumps and his KO power are his only real merits on Meta, IMO. Still a disadvantage.

Meta doesn't have any bad match-ups. the closet one is i think Meta vs Snake with Meta holding a slight advantage.

Shadow is correct, Meta has no bad match ups as of today's Metagame. However, since Snake can be out prioritized just enough and his Up B can be easy to gimp, it's still not a nuetral match up.

However, what I've heard is that thanks to Lucario's projectiles and range to match Meta's, it's a nuetral match up. Not to mention it's hard to KO Lucario; although a gimp isn't too hard to accomplish, thanks to extremespeed's failure to knock people off ledges.

Also, if a good Lucario player can manage to stay alive and not get fresh D-smashed into oblivion at high damage %s, Lucario's now-high KO power combined, with his range can get the upperhand on Meta in certain situations. Ofcourse, this demands perfection so you don't get KO'd; as if you go back down to 0% damage, it'l be increasingly tough to land a KO, which can lead to you losing the entire match.

Wrong. Try playing against an Expert Meta mainer like CK.

I'm nowhere near an expert. I'm a great aggro player, but I don't play with strategy, nor have I ever done any special training and things of that sort.

The only way to beat a Metaknight is to be a better Metaknight player yourself.

That's certainly not true. Meta isn't unbeatable, GC. He just can be difficult to take on. If Meta was unbeatable, I would be the best on Wiichat (no, I am not, I've got a long ways to go). If Meta was unbeatable, he would win EVERY tourny in existence, which certainly isn't the case.

That, and I've beaten Meta's with my Falconator. That proves it alone.

It's not like I haven't beaten a Metaknight before it's that I have a lot of problems fighting them. I think that ROB puts a good fight even though that he's a big target.

R.O.B does have good projectiles and priority, but as you said, since he's a big target he's easily combo'd. That right there gives him a disadvantage. But since he's quite heavy and is hard to combo, it almost balance things out, I'd like to think. So while R.O.B has a disadvantage, it's definatly not as bad as some other characters.
