Which character are you best with?

... Oh, I thought you were referring to 64, we were just talking about 64. :p Yes, Ness' Spike is turned into a Meteor in Melee.

... You have a melee guide book? ... LOL.
Yep. I wanted to hurry and obtain every character to see who I was best with.

And if we're talking about 64 terms, then the only terms I knew at that age were move, hit, and special attacks

We have the internet to replace guides, you know. :p I never buy them anymore. The official ones are accurate, but they never tell everything; unless there's not much to be done, i.e. Melee. Unofficial ones I've bought way back when had some things wrong, suprisingly enough. Damn cheap writters...

Same, lol. Almost as true for Melee too, considering I was never compelled into competitive gaming until I had wi-fi capable ones. There's no fun in being "competitive" with the CPU only. :p

I know this is off topic, but... you know, on the subject of competitive wi-fi games, every wii chater knows you hate Brawl. Everyone has mixed reactions to this; but have you heard of Brawl+? It's a hack enabled by tons of codes done by Homebrew. It completely changes the game around; fast falling like melee exists again, histun is highly increased so combos are very possible, L-Canceling, so on and so on. It'l never replace the original competitive enviorment of Melee, but it's not trying to mimic Melee's epicness; (that's not possible anyways) but create something new. Whether or not you're interested in it (I wouldn't be suprised if you aren't), it's pretty epic IMO. Here's an example of it's epicness. Before judging it, watch atleast one video. :p

...I miss fast falling.

Meh, it's a definate improvement, but I'm too lazy to look into homebrew. =/

But that is pretty epic. Can you have BGM that isn't in Brawl?

I'm too lazy for homebrew as well. It doesn't matter anyways, I've got 4.0 installed. It won't be for awhile, if at all, that I'll be able to get homebrew.

Through homebrew, I'm not too sure. I've seen a few methods, though. Here's one of them. Pretty basic, really.

I hate to look at a post this old and throw this thread off track, but for the past month I've been playing brawl+. I am a huge fan of this, I don't think I can even go back to regular brawl.

I signed up for the messageboard they use for B+, and they constantly use player feed back to adjust brawl accordingly. I love the fact that you can now chose to adjust your own buffer rate on moves by 1-10 entire frames!

Ah, a Brawl+ player finally shows up. No worries about quoting my old post, I'm certainly glad to know someone on Wiichat actually uses Brawl+ hacks.

Random question; how do you compare Brawl+ to Melee? I never got to ask anyone this.

You dont , Melee is the better game but in a way Brawl might just be more balanced as anyone can truly win rather than just Fox,Peach,Marth etc as it was in Melee...

Personally I like Brawl better ONLY for the controller option of Wiimote+Nunchuck and Some of the fun characters in brawl.
