Which character are you best with?

I got it! Adrenaline shots before each match, XD!

Ya, I've always had a problem with motivation. I'm basically good at everything, but great at nothing. When I become motivated, however, I can do insane things. I really need to find something in life that motivates me... but eh. Maybe I have a chemical imbalance... hmm... I can try electrocuting myself to cure it / connect with Pikachu more.

Thanks, CK, I've decided to jump in my tub with a toaster. Good advice,.

The key to playing to your full potential is motivation, King. You need to motivate yourself somehow. Excitement, anticipation, reverse psychology, revenge, something. Without motivation, you don't get into the game and you have less fun. Your skill and concentration become fractions of their normal selves.

It says Bodine never actually editted post #2, meaning he did that purposely. Bodine, you sir, have epicly failed.
Oh I see, like the Kaio-ken!

CK: "Oh God Bodine, SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!!!"

How very suspicious, Bodine. :p

Have fun being electrocuted, King?

On a more serious note... I'm the same way, actually. I'm never motivated to do anything, and I'm incredibly lazy. I also have a talent for being above average at most things (especially at video games :p), but I rarely excel further in skill. Brawl and Pokemon are the only two things I've highly increased my skill at.

It's ironic... Sometimes I play piss poor, sometimes I play like a tourny pro. I honestly don't know how motivating myself even works. It's sad, not even understand the innerworking of my mind, isn't it.

Well, anyways, are you possibly getting sick of Brawl, or just getting bored with the same old same old? If it seems like that, just give it a break. Try something new (DEADLY ITEMS ON HIGH! :D). If that's not the case, ... you don't have any other advice from me, sorry to say. >.>;

EDIT: Actually I'm thoroughly amused by your DBZ referrences, Bodine. I've never seen someone pull off as many referrences as me. :p

I almost refrence it as much as Goku kills an enemy with a spirit bomb at the end of a saga or movie lol

Stop speaking blasphemy....

Anyway, it's kind of weird... but I'm actually watching DBZ right now. I use to love it when I was in 5th grade and since there's been so many references... I decided to re-watch the original. I normally don't watch anime, but since I've been having so many all-nighters I had to have something to do :p.

On-Topic: I've lost a lot of my R.O.B. skills and my Peach skills has dropped to 0. I think I'm down to 1 decent character at the moment (Pikachu). I need to get at least 4 characters that I'm good with and 2 that I excel with. I think I might try Mr. G & W... I don't see a lot of people maining him (and my friend does... so easy to get practice).

The blasphemy remark was to CK... you just posted before I finished typing.

Also, 8 characters is too many to stay good with. It's better to minimize the amount of characters you use (and/or use similar type characters), so that you can train each one often.

Well I only have 2 main(meta and toon)but my 4 main subs are snake, ike, weegee and marth and i have 2 sub subs(diddy, weegee)See I train them all individualy just I use the sub subs for back up when I get tired of the main and subs(which happens very often).

CK you were also off topic were you not?

Actually, I wasn't. :) I constituted a good post every time, with an off topic comment here and there. That's perfectly fine.

ANYWAYS.

While I may be good with almost every character, Wolf and Meta are my only true excellent characters, I'm in a dilemma similar to you, King. My Toon has gotten lackluster and I don't see to get "in the mood" anymore, to make him beastly. My Falco is just... meh. Unskillful.

Then again, Wolf and Meta are all I need. It'd be nice if I could proficiently sub Toon as good as I used to, though...

 You don't need to teach me junk, lulz (you couldn't anyways :p). I can teach myself; or should I say, reteach myself. I used to have it with Toon, but I don't anymore (... deja vu?). If I train my ass off with Toon, I'll learn what works and how to do what, and etc.

This is why I stress training with someone you can't beat more than 50% of the time. If you play with terrible people, you'll still be using bad moves that work on them, but not on someone good. This can pull you into a false sense of security that you're really good, while in truth, you aren't at all; your opponents just make you look good.

... I sound like a hypocrite, I rarely Brawl anyone I can't beat these days... Then again, not many people like that are around Wiichat. .-.
