Which character are you best with?

Well that's what I do I never use his down-b the bananas are such a nusence and can be used against you.

Makes me want to try Diddy . I wish I was good with diddy... he seems like he could be good. I once got a KO (complete accident) by just using his Up B to get back on the stage. The person was right on top of me and the flames spiked him down XD. I didn't even know that his Up B could spike... it was crazy.

I need to get a new list of characters to use... Pikachu is the only character that I've truly even tried to "main" (well Wolf too... but my controller = no more Wolf).

I like Marth, but I also like using character no one else uses (R.O.B., Olimar, Peach, etc.).

Oh well... I'll get an actual main / sub list eventually.

Diddy is a very good character his down-a is like a god.

Im good with Diddy. Used to sub/main him. I just qwuite him bc he is too easy to spam.

Virtually every time I use Diddy I don't use his Down B once... I just forget about it. I prefer to use his A attacks and the occasional Side B. I also try to make sure I hit a person when I have to use his Up B, but I still need practice with that.

His B is kind of annoying... the only thing I like about it is that it can help to let it explode on you (hitting both you and your opponent), but it's impractical to land.

How would I spam his moves if I focus on A attacks? Smash attacks are harder to spam (still possibly) than B moves.

I focus on overpowering the enemy as fast as I can. I try to use his Side B to clear the distance between the foe and myself and then use his A attacks to tear into him. I'll admit I'm not that good with him (never use him), but he's fun to use.

It's not spamming, SB81, bananas last for a little more than enough time for them not to spam. I've honestly seen someone hit me with a banana when I was trying to recover. Bananas are what Diddy Kong's specialty (are or is?)

Spamming Down B has nothing to do with spamming Diddy; it's spamming strategy with Bannanas. Throwing them constantly, playing mindgames only to pick them up and throw them AGAIN, combo-ing with them, gimping, etc. You can't spam his Down B (only 2 'nnanas at a time), but you can spam using the Bannanas.

A good Diddy does always have 2 bannanas out at a time, they find the time to do so and use them ASAP. It really is easy to spam him, though...

A good Diddy also uses his Side B frequently, and spikes with D-air rather than Up B; unless you can recover straight up to the ledge. A good Diddy also spams bannanas, D-smash, and his Dash Attack U-smash combo. ... In short, SPAM.

Correct. Experts don't spam; pro's do, though. Money and fame is on the line, spam is part of the game in serious tournaments. Only certain things will be spammed, i.e. Meta's Mach Tornado wouldn't be spammed in pro gameplay; although it'd certainly be used very often.

Wolf's laser is the perfect example for pro's to spam. They have, and will do it on a regular basis; it prevents ground approaches (essentially forcing characters like Meta to glide, making them predictable) and racks up damage quickly.
