Where to Camp - Ups and Downs

Well today three big stores pretty much revealed plans on the Wii launch days and I'll just say the ups and downs of each

Walmart

Advantages

• Midnight Launch (for every 24 hour Wal-Mart)
• Wait inside (warm and cozy)

Disadvantages

• Wal-mart's durttty
• Might be longer lines

Target

Advantages

• FREE SODA AND POPCORN 1 hour before store opens
• Very organized (you fill out an order and check the accessory's and games you want)

Disadvantages

• Wait in the cold

Best Buy

Advantages

• A lot in stock
• Organized (tells you how much there going to get and other stuff while your in line)

Disadvantages

• Wait in the cold
• Might be the biggest line

im waiting at my local Wal-mart..they open at 7 am..and we are getting 40 so yeah..and the guy said come at 5 am sunday morning and your sure to get one..but im not talking any chances...no thank you

I'll end up at walmart at 3:00am or 12:00am on a saturday and waiting a whole day for it! I'll go to walmart at the PS3s launch to see what i need to do and get a taste of what it will be like.

I'm going to Best Buy. I went there for the Xbox 360 launch, and they were really organized. I got there with my Dad and Brother at about 8:00 and they were opening up at 10:00. They gave everybody in line a ticket and told everybody how many consoles they had in stock. Also, they allowed a min. 1 per household and if you sold your place in line to anybody, both you and the person you sold it to would be denied a chance to buy a system. Also, the people waiting were a blast to hangout with.

Walmart or target, if all else fails,circuit city. its across the parking lot. Forget Bestbuy I dont support places that dont honor warranties. They can organize all they want, walmart is indoors, and target opens at 8 am.So if I happen to go brain dead on the 18th for the midnite lauinch, I can get up early on the 19th and pop in line at target.
