When you beat the game: Did you use a guide?

Used guide for the first 35 stars to get a hang of it...then stopped w/ the guides

How could you use a guide........this game is very linear without the cost of the freedom to explore. I thought it was amazing...

I Pretty much figured it all out by myself and with friends, but soetimes i got really annoyed (I have a short temper) and looked up videos on youtube... But those were only for small, confusing parts of a star and never the whole thing.
