What's wrong with my Wii? Help.

The blue light around my discdrive won't light up.
It's been driving me crazy since I got my Wii.
I thought it was supposed to turn on when you put a game in but mine doesn't.
Can anybody help me out??

it doesnt turn on when you put a game in it turns on when you have a new message,to turn it on send a email from you wii to your computer and then reply to it on your computer and just dont read the message and it will stay lit:thumbsup:

yup. do you have your hooked to the internet? If so, add people (make sure you tell them) and when they message you, it'll glow blue

I think people have said this before...and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all because when you turn on the Wii, if you have a message, the light goes off when you turn it on.
