...Blew my money on fixing blown fuses on my DS...as of now its in the bin.....(i had to cut my way in, as one of the screws got cross-threaded - cheap tri-wing screwdriver)

Its all down to the price.
You can pay a lot of money for some thing and get it with ease.
But to get it for next to nothing (Shenmue 2 for a quid) makes it better
