Of everything you mentioned #5 is the one that would be the best for me.
I have a toddler. I simply cannot have cords all over my living room (or even one cord anywhere in my living room) so using GC controllers is impossible. I have all my GC games just collecting dust.
It seems like it wouldn't be a big deal to map to the classic controller, the buttons are very similar. Also, wireless GC controls are hard to find and not durable in my experience.
