Animal Crossing is a wonderful game in my opinion. It never gets old, there's so much to do and it's very entertaining. If you are not into that sort of thing, I would suggest Pokemon, Final Fantasy III, Mario Kart DS, Nintendogs (it's cute!) and Yoshi's Island DS. All of those are pretty good.

not sure if anyone has mentioned picross - but if you like puzzle games and online play this is a must have game!

also - it is very cool to connect wifi and download all the old mario picross puzzles from the old game boy days.
