I've never been in an anime club but my friend who was introduced me to Gurren Lagann after having watched it with his club. Dunno if it is considered one of the good ones but I liked it.

I object, to a degree.
For the most part in my club, the majority vote goes towards anime that aren't the best. Americans and their general perception of anime, pft.
However, I did get AnoHana, Fairy Tale (which I kind-of consider good, maybe not the best), Hyouka, and Sword Art Online out there. That was all the good I can do, most of the stuff they rejected because they either haven't seen it or they only wanted to watch a Bleach re-run.

S.A.O (Sword Art Online) was a decent-good anime. Just recently watched it myself...so might as well finish off this ongoing series.

Currently watching The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. Loving it a lot so far. the Endless Summer episodes pissed me off but im finally past it.

Somebody finally subbed Yatterman
and stopped watching after three and a bit episodes after realising its more or less the same story to each one

I really need to finish Soul Eater. I was watching it every week a new episode was out but stopped about half way through. Don't know why either. It was a great show.
Manga Uk are tempted to start doing Gintama box sets.
And when they do my bank account will start shrinking.
